If you're on verizon, this deal is really good. If you're not, the google fi deal is really mediocre (as of 10/15/2019)

Buy Google Pixel 4, get another on us.
  • Buy any Pixel 4 with monthly device payments and get one Pixel 4 64GB on us, or $800 off any other Pixel 4.
  • Add one of these phones as a new smartphone line to your account on any Unlimited plan.
  • Then you'll see a credit of $33.33/mo over 24 months on your bill.
Plus, get a $200 Prepaid Mastercard when you switch to Verizon on Unlimited.
  • Add any Pixel 4 as a new smartphone line to your account on any Unlimited plan.
  • After checkout, visit vzw.com/digitalrebatecenter. Enter promo code: FALLSWITCH and the other necessary information when prompted.
  • Receive your Prepaid Mastercard within 8 weeks.

Get $450 off any Google Pixel 4 [IMHO A WAY BETTER DEAL]
  • Buy any Pixel 4 with monthly device payments on any Unlimited plan.
  • Trade in one of the phones below within 30 days after check out.
  • Get $450 credited to your account over 24 months.
Trade in list is very generous, iphone 5s and galaxy s4!

Trade-In Phone To Buy Below:
  • Reconditioned Total Wireless 16GB Samsung Galaxy S5 Prepaid Phone [totalwireless.com] $49.99
  • choose the $25 Unlimited Talk & Text (No Data) Plan Card
  • use code OCTOBER20 at checkout to take $15 Off the phone's price
  • final price for both the phone + $25 plan card should be $59.99 + tax with Free 2-Day Fedex Shipping
  • : Trade the phone for $450 credit towards the Pixel 4 @ Verizon (search 'Samsung Galaxy S 5 Prepaid 16GB Other Black' when filling out the trade-in information on Verizon, then pick through each option listed until you find the one with model # SM-S903VL and use that) EDIT: Use phone or chat to order if you do not have the phone in hand. Website will ask for IMEI.
  • NOTE: Be sure to take the Total Wirless SIM card out of the phone and keep it, along with $25 plan card to perhaps set up a new 'throwaway' number on Total Wireless to use for a port-in deal @ another carrier, i.e. Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, AT&T, Cricket, etc.

will the pixel 4 have to be locked to verizon for a certain amount of days? I was thinking of going through a family member that has verizon but i'm on tmobile.
Verizon now locks their phones for 60 days after purchase/activation. This policy started in July.

This would be great on any other carrier. But an unlock Verizon phone won't work on any other carrier network. Is that still correct?

Be aware Pixel 4 has no fingerprint reader - face only. If you are used to accessing bank accounts, etc via apps that use the fingerprint, you're SOL (or back to passwords) until those apps all update to face recognition (if they ever do.)

That was a deal breaker for me.

This would be worth it for me, I have two Droid 2s lying around that the kids play with. And could upgrade from the Pixel 2 for my wife and I.

I wonder if I should do this, or wait for a possible 50% off sale on Black Friday at Best Buy with possible no bill credits? I have an extra phone on the list I would be willing to part with.
I bought the Pixel 3 on release have not regretted any purchase more. Just wait

Was hoping for BOGO on Google FI and finally upgrade my 1st gen pixel. Will have to wait and see.
I saw Google fi offering $100 bill credit for preordering...so dissappointed

They won't just use face unlock as replacement for fingerprint?

Trade-ins have to be in good, working condition. Cracked screens and non-functioning phones do not trigger the $450 discount (I've tried running examples through their website).

If you're looking to go this route and don't have an eligible trade-in, it might make sense to pick up a cheap used phone off of eBay for $40 or so and use that as the trade-in.

I really love my fingerprint sign on.....I wouldn't upgrade until face ID is thoroughly accepted/utilized in the mobile platform.

Bill credits are simply the new "2-year contract"

Don't buy into this. Wait 2 months and the same deal will be had, without the bill credits

Will a phone with non working wifi be eligible for trade in? Thanks

Yo, can someone explain bill credits to me? Say I have Verizon and wanna pay it off the next day...can I? If I wanna leave VZ can I just pay the remaining balance or do they act like the bill credits never existed and I'm looking at a 1k phone to pay?

All I know is I bought a S9+ off Samsung's site and I was able to put half or so down and make it where I only had a few hundred left to pay last year...
If you pay it off early, the bill credit ends. It's their way of locking you in for two years. Considering the discount, it's a reasonable trade off. It's essentially the new way of doing two-year contracts.

Absolutely, I still have 10 months of bill credit with T Mobile, I would have switched to Verizon by now had it weren't for the $300 in bill credits on my account.

I assumed that the apps just receive a success or fail from the OS and that face unlock would work with any app that uses fingerprint. Can any mobile developers weigh in?

It looks like Verizon is going to use their promos to force people to switch to Unlimited plans, bummer.
