Although I was a Nokia fan back in the day... before Microsoft came in, I'm also realizing that this phone is a few years too late. The reviews are not positive and I would prefer to have a cohesive package that isn't just a "master" of one thing.

Since this phone's primary focus (pun intended) is on the camera, it's a bit disappointing that it has not received better reviews. They're certainly not terrible, but just not outstanding. For example, DXOMARK testing gave it an overall score of 85 (https://www.dxomark.com/nokia-9-p...ra-review/) while the single camera Pixel 3a rates a 100 (https://www.dxomark.com/google-pi...ra-review/).

This phone isn't leading in any field bud. Other phones with fewer modules hold up better in reviews.

You would think that they would know this during the design phase. Would the project title be "Let's make a meh phone and see if it sells"?

This phone released too late, with impressive features on paper, but couldn't perform against phones with a simpler camera setup. I was expecting them to kill it in night photography, but nope.

But it wins the most cameras in one phone award for now. I'll wait until there's 25-30 cameras one, should cover up all of the back at that point😏it might be useless feature but sure an interesting one

I have been holding out on this one since launch it was $699 and had pretty bad reviews for the camera (main selling point) and the unreliable in-screen finger print reader among other things. It's not just the camera doesn't take good photos, it has clunky software and is very slow to process the five images into one. It has usability problems. Even at $399, I am hesitant to bit on this, and probably won't.

BTW: I am a long time Nokia user on Windows Phone. Had the 520, 900, 920, 950, 1020, 1520 over the last decade. Now I currently have the Nokia 6.0 and it takes horrible photos, but only cost around $175 and I dont even keep a case on it cause I dont care. I am waiting to see what is announced for the Nokia 8.2 in a few weeks or so.

I found this phone to be horrible. The in screen fingerprint is really bad and the camera shots looked horrible straight out of the camera basically forcing you to use editing software to fix them
