Great deal. Best price yet for this top-rated 4K TV.

Best offer I got on Greentoe was $1800 + tax.

Seller does not charge tax for Illinois residents. Freight shipping by AM Home Delivery.

Similar deal for this seller has been posted before. Pennsylvania state will charge sales tax which brings it to 1800 for me. There was a deal a week ago for 1795 (maybe 1799) where tax was included in sell price. So pretty much the same deal we've seen the last couple weeks.

EDIT: Previous deal I mentioned

Weird... why Sony OLEDs never down in prices. I'm willing to pay 10 - 20% more.

Why do you have to piss on the OP's deal?

A $100 saving is nothing to sneeze at. It would pay for a 4 yr SquareTrade warranty from Costco.

This is still the lowest price available from a legit seller, and an awesome deal for those who don't have pay the sales tax.

Wasn't trying to piss on anyone's deal mate. Not disagreeing that it's a bad deal. Just wanted to point out that this pricing has been out there before. Sheesh

FYI I tried ordering this and was advised they do not ship to most rural areas. Order was cancelled.

Please be aware that costco now only sells squaretrade to those who bought TV from them

I ended up buying a 4 yr squaretrade from eBay for $170

Maybe a stupid question. But is it safe to say that for an authorized legitimate reseller, this is as good a deal as were likely to see? Especially compared to potential Black Friday deals on this tv?

Judging by last year, the pricing for the C8PUA seems to only have dropped to about 2300 at major retailers.

Sound about right? Considering pulling the trigger but first time using slick deals and don't wanna get suckered.

  • FirstClassTVs is not an 'authorized' reseller. In fact, they are specifically listed on LG's website as 'not authorized', along a few other eBay sellers.
  • However, they are a 'legitimate' seller, in that they sell authentic LG products without any scam tactics. Buyers have reported successfully registering their TVs with LG, and getting warranty service.
  • Based on my research, I don't think the price is going to down much further until next fall, after the C10s are introduced.
  • Black Friday sales are for low-end brands and models specifically manufactured for BF. High-end models almost never see lower prices on BF.
Unless you are prepared to wait till next fall, you should buy this TV now. Certainly, having this TV a few months earlier is worth more than a $100 discount that may never materialize.

Do you have some sort of inside info that the price will not drop further for a year?

Careful this seems to be the "c9p" which is the 6 bit processor not the "c9pua" which uses the 10 bit processor. Better double check before you buy.
