Or not because most games don't need it. Dual channel is more important than 16gb (which in guessing this doesn't have which IS unfortunate). And 8gb more ain't $100 if you do it yourself.

Edit: nvm, it IS two 4gb sticks which means it should be dual channel, all but eliminating the need for a ram upgrade. The CPU/gpu combo will be the limiting factor in 95%+ of games here
