Ace Hardware is running a 95 year anniversary sale, and I received their advertisement via snail mail for their deals that run from October 16-28. The ad lists $250 off their Weber Genesis II SE-410 LP Gas Grill(Final price 699.00 + tax).

Ace reward members also get free assembly and delivery on grills 399 and up! You need to have an ACE close enough to qualify for the free delivery/assembly.

Here is the link to their site of deals with the grill deal on top(looks like 4 different colors to choose from):

I ordered this one [amazon.com] from Amazon. $27 after clipping $3 coupon. I used the medium size for my E320 for years.

I use the same brand for my BGE & firewood rack.
Was contemplating that cover but went with King Kong 7131 as it seemed to be more fitted for the gen II . Only time will tell - even the weber cover did not have perfect reveiws Your cover is a much better color and has handles and stellar reviews.

Am going to use my ACE rewards points for the Weber Sear Grate 8854 when the points load .

Found some cheaper tritip last night shopping , so came home and fired up the new grill . Like others with all burners lit full , it heated up quickly but leveled off just over 500 . The meat cooked evenly , & was able to lay some grill marks without the true sear heat that missing .

I would love a Weber 335 with stainless & sear station but that was not available at a discount . The 410 was my second choice for great bbq ..the extra burners and room allow for indirect heating & leaving the after market sear grate on . Costco has the LX 240 at this sale price and that is just as desirable as the 335 , but seems cramped for ribs or indirect heating although more powerful burners and 'high +' may help with the sear . The stainless grill and guts for the SE 410 were the close for me - when hd lowes and the rest have a sale or clearance - it will be non stainless models .

I helped my bro-in-law assemble one very similar to this (5 burner tho I think). It took a few hours and was a PITA but once done it's very solid... the lids on these things weigh a ton. Everything seems super sturdy.

Actually the Genesis II SS grates and bars are now available on Ebay from a seller named rcplanebuyer. Just search weber pn66032 on ebay and the flavorizer bar should pop up. Scroll down the listing and he said that he's also making the grates for the Genesis II line as well so you'd have to email him for more info on that one if interested. His grates and bars are top notch and will probably be the last ones you'll ever need for your grill, it'll probably even outlast the grill itself since they're made with heavy gauge 304 SS. I bought the grates and bars for my old school Genesis and have no doubt that they'll be the only ones I'll ever need.

I bought the thicker flavorizer bars off ebay for my old Weber grill and the Weber stainless grates. I know you can buy all this aftermarket, but the special edition with everything stainless except for the lid is only available at Ace

Yah, the ones from rcplanebuyer are aftermarket....way better than the OEM ones though IMO.

Killer deal. I bought This model online 1 year ago for $900... No tax + Free shipping at the time. BBQ Guys site... Since I believe these two suppliers are the only authorized retailers that sell the SE model.

I have no issues cooking anything on this grill. it definitely gets hot enough regardless of what anyone tells you. And having the extra real estate is beneficial... There's a lot of real estate for indirect cooking.

If I may make a suggestion to anyone considering this grill. While the stainless steel flavorizer bars and stainless steel grates are great benefit to have, I purchased a set of 4 aluminum finned grillgrates. after 10 minutes of preheating with all four burners on high, my infrared thermometer measured surface temperature at 675 degrees.

That's a lot of heat. My steaks come out fantastic.

What porcelain enamel grill surface? These SE models have SS grates, not porcelain/cast iron.

specs:
Grate/Surface Material: Stainless Steel
