Gibson Les Paul 4 6 or 8" Studio Monitors 75% off! $199-$599

This looks HOT as I just saw these at a local Guitar Center for $799 each for the 6" model.

Prices range from $199 - $599 depending on how many you buy (pair of 6" is $399 for example- over $1100 off!)

These monitors look absolutely fantastic using the same finishing techniques as Les Pauls. Reviews have been good with the bad point of "being pricey"...that's now a problem now Big Grin

Enjoy!

Nice find! Love the look of these and have heard mostly great things about their sound. Now they're priced where they should've been

I don't need these at all, but they are so damn pretty. If they weren't powered I would put them into my home theater living room setup.

Typically, guitar amp speakers are rated much higher than the amp's output (I see anywhere between 200 and 350ish watts offhand for speakers that connect to a 100W head) - with a line out you might be okay but monitor speakers are built for clarity not power so I probably wouldn't risk it personally.

These wouldn't be good for a HT setup. They're meant to be studio monitors. While I'm not overly familiar with these models, I'm sure they are voiced to be more neutral (harsh to a lot of folks) and probably have a much smaller sweet spot.

No these are not appropriate for amplifying an electric guitar. Much of the tone of an electric guitar is created by the amplifiers circuitry. It would sound very dull and plain without something to enhance the tone. These are just for music playback.
