I used Blaupunkt radio(two of them on my two vehicles) for ages (those are old school single-din radios with mp3/wma and HD radio support) for ages, they stood real well. I am not sure about these modern double din models though.

This is not the old Robert Bosch era Blaupunkt . It is just a Chinese radio with Blaupunkt badge.

I have experience with the Blaupunkt BP800 Play (looks identical to this) I installed it in my 1993 Winnebago
I had problems finding ANY information regarding the function/features of this so I purchased one to try and did an online review of it.

It's not a high end unit, and it's probably not going to give you tons of power and lots of bells and whistles/audio tweaks that a nice Pioneer or Kenwood would. But, For the price it's actually a decent unit (with a capacitive screen) that Android Auto and Apple Car play work quite well on.

I purchased mine (BP800) from Frys for somewhere around $180 last winter/spring and have zero regrets. The only real issues i've found is that their support is garbage if you need it, but beyond that no regrets.

Bluetooth 2.1, isn't that very old standard.

Got one of these from Frys about a year ago, works great for CarPlay! That's all I use, so I can't comment on the other features. CarPlay connectivity is by cable. I've had another phone connected by BT and that has worked great as well. Call quality, including my voice on the other end, has been excellent with zero complaints. I can't imagine a better option for $150. I do miss having an actual volume knob. The next budget level up would be the Sony XAV-AX1000 for ~$250.

I'm sure this requires a cable connection. Looking for a wireless unit and holding out for Best Buy Black Friday deal...🤞

I've purchased this when fry's had a deal for them for $150 a few months back. The physical volume buttons died on me within a week. This annoyed the crap out of me and because I've already invested in the trim for my car and the adapters. I had to buy a different unit double the price. Pioneer with android auto/ car play.

My piece of advice would be to avoid this since it's not the same Blaupunkt it use to be. Spend more on a known brand to have better reliability and sound quality. I could tell the audio difference.
