For anyone that jumped on the Dell T30 deal, this is it
I was actually just looking into this too as my T30 has been sitting idle. FYI, Crucial's site does not list this memory as officially compatible, but I'm going to take a chance.

Wow thanks! Didn't see that it was R anywhere on the site. Not even that great a price then either.

If you guys can help me, please, what does it mean if it's registered T30? Also, should I consider waiting until black Friday

You need unbuffered ECC, not Registered ECC, for T30. It's not very common, tbh I'd check eBay..

You need DDR4 ECC memory and not DDR4 ECC Registered Memory. These are DDR4 ECC REG memory.

after dealing with trying to find deals on appropriate memory for T30 for a few months last year i settled on the regular Non ECC ones 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX c15 3000Ghz (show up as 2.4Ghz) but work fantastic. crucial ballistix 2x16GB 3200 Ghz work good as well. Advantage is those can go to other builds in the future and I wont be stuck with ECC ram. Well after attaching the pic i realize those are running at 2133 now what the heck. will figure out over the weekend.

If I decide not to use the ram that came with the Dell T30 and just replace it with two sticks of non ECC, with that work?
