Any SD'ers know if this actually works? I spent so much on different types that I have many just sitting in my cabinet.

Zinc is thought to help shorten a cold if you take it soon after being exposed. Instructions say to take it as soon as symptoms show, which most people might not, and even then the exposure was likely a few days earlier.

Won't do a thing for flu exposure.

Thanks, my Fiance is always buying these for full price, and they're useful for bringing for conferences to avoid plague. In for 2 with slow-boat digital credits.

Are these similar to Airborn in that they've been scientifically proven to do nothing and litigated against for false marketing?

Airborne is Vitamin C, so no, they're not the same.

These are good to have at home at the first sign of a cold like a scratchy throat. Zinc can shorten colds by a day, but is certainly not a shield against one.

Good deal, but the Walmart price is $9.97 for 18 or 24 ct. That $14.99 price is erroneous.
