Same as Walgreens: For best quality photos - don't forget that after you hit upload in the bottom right corner there is an "Upload Preferences" option. Here you can change the resolution from the defaulted "Standard Resolution" to "Full Resolution" and also remove the red eye correction. If you have already done this before, your preferences should be remembered. Here is a screen shot of where to find it (https://imgur.com/ugKZafC).

Please note that these types of prints are meant to be displayed without frames.

I suggest that you do not have the image wrap around the edges, but have a color wrap on the edges and make the color black.
This will give a pseudo-perception of framing and will also help with the visual impact since it helps the print stand out from the (probably) light colored wall. Also, this way all of your image will be on the front, you do not lose any part of it over to the edges.
I can't give you CVS specific detailed steps to do this, since I am currently abroad and CVS does not let you get on its website unless you are trying to sign in from the U.S.

Don't know how long this will last and there's a previous thread with many comments. I had 18 canvases made on that deal of restored old family photos and took them to family reunions. Big hit. These are not $100 canvases, but they do a great job for $10! Note that there's a choice (if I remember correctly) you have to make for upload quality. Of course, choose high quality.

I love my SD family 😊

How do these compare to Walgreens quality? I got their $10 canvas last week and it's dull and low quality to me. Also wasn't wrapped well so black edges show on the front.

Ordered 9 of these over the summer and they turned out great. I've heard Walgreen has the same item for $15 and are slightly better quality/construction but I didn't have a problem with these. As mentioned, not amazing but great for the price. Best way I was told (and they worked well) was there are two ways to set the photo. You set it as Photo Wrap or Color Wrap. Photo Wrap will add the photo past edges of the canvas (wrapping it around the sides). You want to use Color Wrap in Black this way you have a black border on the sides rather than a distorted photo that wraps around the edges. To do this:

Select your photo
Under Layouts -> Color Wrap -> First option on the top left
Then Under Backgrounds -> Select the Black Color

Hope that helps!

Set the background to whatever color you want, then adjust the photo to stay in the area of the interface that represents the non-border area.

That made it really easy and made the photos fit perfectly, thank you. Default settings really chopped off a bunch of the image for the wrap unless you tweaked the size/shape manually outside of the website.

In for one. Interestingly enough I couldn't get the password reset to work so I created a new account. Then I couldn't get the checkout to work with Google Chrome so I switched to Apple Safari browser and I was able to get the $10 order complete. I have had good luck with these portraits from other vendors.
