You should say this again for the people in the back. SPro's are cool devices, but after 12 months, anything that goes wrong with the unit, including normal wear and tear on the battery, will cost you $450 to "fix." Even MS can't replace the batteries in these so they just swap out someone else's reject device (refurb) for yours. Almost as bad, if your battery or SSD dies in the first year, they won't fix your machine, you'll be required to accept a refurb unit.

Seems like a good deal but the battery making them disposable devices it a deal breaker for me.

Is there a good tablet that has cheap easily replaceable battery and more than 1 year of warranty?

My Surface 3 is still going fine too. 8hr battery life and it sits in the charging dock, haven't babied battery at all.
