The Rag Company makes much better microfiber towels. Chemical Guys is worse than meguiars and pretty low quality overall. Google: Eagle Edgeless

make sure you clean it correctly (simple detergents, no dryer, only air dry, no fabric softener) and only use the clean sides.
Otherwise the dirty side might scratch stuff with dust, dirty, .etc that it picks up.

I usually do a pre-dry dry when the car is soaking wet after a wash. It's meant to take the bulk of the water off, and I can just wring the wet towel out again and again. I'll use the fatty microfiber to finish it up and dry it completely, usually with a wax spray on top as well.

Just the way I do it. There's probably better ways that take less time, but I enjoy washing my car so the extra time isn't a big deal.

I have this and midway thru drying my car after wash this becomes so damp that it's unusable at that point. Not sure if I'm doing anything wrong.
