Super price! I'm in same boat as a lot of other people here. This or the lg c9 or a sony led.
I'm got to do something in next week!! This is driving me crazy.

Not waiting for Black Friday.
I'm in the same boat bro. Just bought a new house and need the big screen for my man cave.

this is great deal... what's the catch.. shipping/delivery time ??
any major store can price match this?
Exactly. I am gifting myself a nice tv for once, for my bday. I was willing to pay$1,500 for the Vizio quantum x, which I've tend to gone Vizio in the past.

Any concerns with buying this deal?

Also, I've never purchased tv through ebay or used Square Trade. Please help me out here!

I couldn't wait and possibly miss out on a great deal. I went ahead and bought this, including the 2 year SquareTrade protection. Please, someone tell me I did good!

I have friends that have bought the C9 from this company and their partner companies no catch, shipping depends on the area but usually a week for Miami FL or less, no price match

Q90 vs TCL 8 series is my big ? Hurry up reviews and rtings
Vincent from HDTV Test on YouTube has reviewed the 8 series, the only thing it does better than the Q90 is it won't crush small highlights to surpress blooming like the Q90 does on some scenes such as when subtitles are present or space scenes with stars, also it has Dolby Vision while the Q90 has HDR 10+, if you do go 8 series I don't think it's worth $2000 it's basically a 6 series with more zones just like the Q80 vs Q90

I bought it last week from the same seller. Item shipped the next day via Amtracking from NJ and shows end of Oct arrival.

Why this over C9?

Ambient Mode. I want my TV to diaplay art when it is not being used.

No-Gap wall mount.

Brightness. I have a super bright room.

I saw both this TV and C9 at BestBuy and it is not too far behind C9 in terms of picture quality.

No risk of image burn-in.

One Connect Box. Easier to wall mount this TV.

C9 v/s this was a hard decision. Ambient mode was the main reason i went this route.

Really? Ambient mode?

Use it like a photo frame? 24/7 or only when guests around?

Does it consumer full power when displaying in ambient mode?

Do you have a link to that test?
Does he say anything about the issues with banding/uniformity with the TCL

Also...I think one can easily tell the difference , side by side, with the Q80 and Q90

You would be surprised how similar they look and In a room with ambient lighting I couldn't tell them apart, in a dark room you can see the Q90 has better local dimming on some content but both have basically the same picture and even the same wide viewing angle tech which is underrated imo and another reason why at this price it beats the TCL, I like the design of the Q90 over the Q80 though especially the stand and the one connect box of the Q90.

You work hard ( I hope) and decided to treat yourself to a great entertainment venue.
Regardless of if this is a deal or not (it is), you did good.

Real good.

This was my reasoning for this! I do work hard, and hardly want or get anything for myself. I've been telling myself though that I'd really like a really nice tv and sofa to relax and watch sports. I was able to spin the sofa as a wife/house gift. Even my wife was happy to see me buy something expensive for myself for a change.

Update on my order.

I purchased, or attempted to, this TV along with the square trade warranty. I got a couple additional emails about the warranty, but nothing on the tv. I checked the order, and the tv "did not go through". I didn't even see the tv pending on my card, but only the warranty. I contacted the seller and was told the order for the tv did fail, but wasn't given a reason. I went and attempted to order the tv this morning again. I've got the initial confirmation email, like before, but I do see the amount pending on my card. I've emailed the seller my new order number to confirm everything went through. Crossing fingers. I'll let you know how it works out.

Edit: I've received shipping confirmation. Looks like I'm getting a new tv.

It is like their Frame Art TV.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4h94z0knuT4

it's supposed to use 30 percent of the power in Ambient mode and it has a sensor to completely turn off the TV when nobody is around. Again, in theory it sounds good. I will have to see how it will turn out in practice.

I am getting this in 'As Is" working condition from Walmart @ $650. It was on display. Should I jump on it?
