Google Pixel XL 32GB & 128GB (Carrier Unlocked) (Refurbished)

$115.00

A selection of refurbished Google Pixel XLs for sale, all 3 colors are available for the 32GB version (including Really Blue), Just Black and Very Silver only for the 128GB version ($128). Listing says Scratch and Dent but fully functional.

As you might know the OG Pixels did get Android 10 from Google, so while its long term update future might be dubious, you will be in the top 1% of Android phones as far as having a more recent operating system, not to mention a phenomenally pixel dense screen at 534ppi, a snapdragon 821, and the goodness of a Pixel camera with night sight.

There were a lot of people saying the Pixel 4 was too expensive at $800, at $115 this is for you :-)

Consumer Advisory; Expect negative bias in the comments (wait until later, fake story xyz, false "public opinion abc", old junk because I only pay premium prices, references to nonexistent better deals with no proof) woot targeted by the resident shillforce.

Aww that's a bummer, I was hoping for an unlocked boot loader. Are the frequencies at least the same on the Google version and the Verizon version?
Yes, Phone is 100% identical except for locked bootloader.

I'm coming from a OnePlus phone and love the ability to easily root and load custom roms. Is it easy to customize this phone?
No, because your going to get the Verizon model with a locked bootlader.

How did you check the battery health?
If you use Google Assistant, you can say "Ok Google, I have a battery issue" and it will ask if it can check your battery and if you proceed, it can give you a rough idea of your battery's health. It's not to the exact percentage but it saves you from having to install another app if you prefer not to.

No he's right. Not quite the nuclear reactor that the SD 810 you mentioned was, but the 820/21 were also very capable of warming a small 2 bedroom apartment themselves. Especially thanks to LG (the maker of this phone) who was notorious for skimping on the thermal paste. Obviously this doesn't apply to every one, but just surf the pages of xda or even YouTube and you'll see that overheating/permanent bootloop it is a well known issue with the 820/821 and 810 Snapdragons
HTC made this phone.

Just had to replace my original Pixel. In the past year I had microphone problems a number of times that usually cleared up after turning the phone off and on. a few months ago it became almost completely unusable. About the same time I found out about the class action suit against Google for original owners of Pixel phones and the many, many phones having a failing microphone. (sounded like yet another case of cracked solder.)
Turns out I'm getting all of $20 from the class action, because my phone didn't fail sooner, even though I've had problems with it off and on for a while. Others that reported the problem, under warranty or not, could end up getting several hundred. I used the Pixel just this past month as a trade-in for all of $47. It was in good condition other than the mic... though don't know if they'll accept it or not yet.
It was a good phone for the most part, though I only had about 50% battery lift after three years. Still don't think I'd pay $100+ even for an XL model just because I'd be worried about another microphone failing.

Extremely hot outdoors on V20
I had one for two years. Upgraded and gave it to my son. Over three years and it's not gotten hot yet. Maybe next year??

Google Photo support full size NEF xD. For me that's a 110 bucks for at least two year cloud storage xD.
What do you mean about NEF & xD? Can you store Nikon photos with this deal?

I'd buy this if there were a 4.4.4 rom. Or any kitkat rom. Kinda silly to have that old of a phone and not run kitkat. Those who dont know kitkat was the best rom. Everything worked fast, you could customize it, get rid of all animation, call recorders worked, tons of dark themes. I had to use my old 1+1 a year ago, and forgot how awesome android used to be.
I still have kitkat on mu firephone.

Before y'all get too excited over free unlimited Google cloud storage for life....they got rid of it. My wife got a Pixel 3 recently with the price drops over the 4, and Google changed their policy. Free for only 3 years now, then ya gotta pay. Of course your pictures will still be backed up and won't be removed, but you can't add anymore after that. Just a heads up!
