The fact they do not list it in the specs makes me think it isn't.

Vostro, eh? I've never seen or heard of this line. It's a very good deal though. The only thing I'd want is at least a 120hz panel. I'd even take TN. If that isn't you then buy it if you're on the fence. This is a lot of power for that price.

Idk the price difference. But if you're referring to the 144hz model that alone would sell me. Also has an extra 1tb mechanical for mass storage.

Ah I see. It will be cheaper than this after the mfg savings; I'd get the Lenovo.

What's everyone's thoughts on the Pro Support vs Pro Support Plus? Are either worth it?

It's not an IPS for those wondering, this has a WVA panel. The really nice thing though is the 97Wh battery, which was probably limited due to airlines having a max of 100Wh for lithium cells.

Already bit on the 14" Vostro earlier this month or I'd be seriously considering this.

Buy the extra support if you get it. It will probably have coil whine and overheating issues like the XPS. Very sharp looking laptop with great specs, but CPU throttling and the whine are quite annoying.

It's Dell's business line
SMALL BUSINESS line.
Their BIG business laptop line is the "Lattitude" line. But you need to make big orders 50+ laptops for that.
Vostro is intended for small business.
You hardly get any customizable features (producing huge batches of same-spec laptops reduces cost). You don't even get a color option for the cover... any way this is specked just as I would have it ... as someone else mentioned, I too bit the 14 inches Vostro at 700 recently, or would seriously be considering this one!
The biggest downside on the 14 inches one was no graphics card and a bit small display... this one gets both issues covered, and gets a newer generation i7 ... it's quite a good laptop for anything other than really demanding gaming.

For the people with portable necessities here you have some research from competitors.

i7 9750h vs i7 1065g7
TDP 35w vs 15w (min)
TDP 45w vs 25w (max)
Single core 1065g7 is 11% better
Multicore 9750h is 53% better

https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Com...4vsm888368

For the gpu MX250 VS GTX 1650
gtx 1650 is 144% better

https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Com...9vsm762458

The prices for the same specs in each laptops are similar ~1000 more or less. The difference is usually the battery life and the the weight.
Which laptop carry 1065g7 and MX250
