Yes, based on feedback in earlier similar deal threads. Even if cannot, you can cancel your plan and get your prorated portion of your money back, then use this promo to resubscribe.
What if I return the doorbell? Will the 1-year plan be automatically canceled on the day of return?

We have two ring floodlights and the door bell. After our free period for monitoring expired on those three, we pay $100 a year for all and were told that no matter how many more we add, it will be $100 a year.

Rather than pull it down I'm sure they would prefer if you bought at the lower price and returned with your original receipt. This way they have a new item to resell rather than a used one.
Only if the packaging is identical, since the original purchase was at Best buy and the sale is at Costco

Is the $60 Costco membership worth it for this deal if I'm looking to buy a security setup? Don't have one in town. I just bought a new house. Any advice/recommendations welcome. Thanks!

Awesome deal. The sensors are bulky but all wireless, with a separate base station. It uses your internet connection but has cellular backup.

Professional monitoring is only $100 a year and includes extended warranty for all Ring devices as well as 30 days recordings of cameras. That's where the true value comes in, if you have cameras/doorbells or are looking to add them.

Also, they recently announced an add-on for existing wired alarm systems.
Reduce the bulk of the sensors by removing the magnet.

Understood, but there's no way they are they going to know which one you are returning. You do them and yourself a favor by just returning the second one with the first receipt.
Last year when I returned the new order with the old receipt at Costco, they said the serial number didn't match. So I explained to them it's basically to get the lower price with a new order. They had to get a manager to override the return and they opened the new unit to inspect everything anyway.

Main difference between pro and regular ring doorbell?
Other than the looks, you can draw your motion zones on the pro and you can use 5ghz wifi. I also feel the motion sensing is a bit better on the pro but that could be all in my head.

You'd think so. But the Costcos around here insist on returning the used one and making me go buy a new one. I really don't understand that waste but that's their policy. Glad some are allowing the return/buy.
Fightingmajor made the higher price purchase at Best buy, sale is at Costco, unless packaging/UPC is identical

Does this alert law enforcement if the notification on my alarm is determined to be a break in? Just thinking of how my current alarm company calls every time my alarm goes off. Confirms everything okay. Asks for password. And doesn't send law enforcement if not needed

I recently bought a ring can and on a month month free trial. If I buy the ring doorbell pro, will I still be able to get 12 months free or is that for new customers that I would no longer qualify for?

If you do not expect to have much use of the membership, and if you know someone who has Costco membership, you may want to give them the money and request them to purchase a gift card for you.
