I've had this for 3 years saves tons of time when you need a bunch of pilot holes. Got a second one. Too heavy drill snaps drill side off you can replace them at least.

Same issue. The part that slides into a chuck doesn't fit into impact drivers so you have to use it with a normal style drill anyways. On top of that, it makes the drill extremely long and unwieldy. Like, a foot long, if not longer... Easier just to drill all the holes and then switch bits once.

If you're drilling countersunk pilot holes, sinking the screws properly will take more finesse than you can usually accomplish with an impact driver.

However, I do have several sizes of a nearly identical item from Sears and find that I only use the quick-change feature if I'm up on a ladder and can't easily have two drills with me. Otherwise, I'll just use two drills.. One in drill mode for making the holes, and the other with the clutch dialed way down for sinking the screws.
