Even at $70, I'm a little hesitant... guess it's not getting any lower but the set seems just a bit underwhelming.

I understand the sentiment here from adult Lego hobbyists/collectors... but for those of us with kids who live Lego this is a great deal.

This will be the first "big" (over 1,000 piece) set for my 7 year old son for Xmas and he's going to be super psyched!

...let's not lose sight of what Star Wars and Legos means for kids.

Looked at the Amazon 3D preview and man, it does seem a little too small and sparse for something at 1239 pieces.

Not bad if you had a project that would use a lot of brown pieces.

I just find this thing so ugly.

This price is actually lower than the knock-off Lepin set was before they got closed down. I agree that this is a bit small, but the 'big' 75059 set [amazon.com] is 3-4 times the price with about 3x the pieces. As much as I like Star Wars and Legos, spending close to $400 is a tough sell - don't even get me started about the Millennium Falcon [amazon.com] Ultimate Collector's Series set. Grin

Not worth $70, and poor representation of sand crawler.

75059. Go big or go home.

I have been seeing this star wars stuff everywhere for dirt cheap. I even saw some toys at the dollar store, and nobody is buying those either. Disney has really been dropping the ball. They used to be about kids, and now it seems they are more interested in PC politics and people in their 20's. Eventually they will burn enough bridges where they won't be too big to fail, especially with their new upcoming superhero "girls only" model. What a shame!
Yeah that's it, Star Wars toys at the dollar store and PC politics align 💯

Insane that something like this would have a list price of $140... Maybe Disney isn't doing so bad after all
