900p gaming is probably the sweet spot to get about 40-60 fps game play.

Games like Fortnite 1080p Low would probably get you 60-70 fps.

Not bad for a tiny portable $300 PC after adding the components here that you can fit in a backpack and take with you basically anywhere.

Depends what they mean by gaming at 1080p. Might have a rough time playing Overwatch on a "Firestick 4k"

It looks like a great media PC if you just add memory sticks and an SSD. It can even do gaming on low-medium settings at 1080p

Great little unit. You can run triple displays on this (the Intel version is limited to 2).

With ease. This is for the Ryzen 3 2200g but they use the same APU

It looks like they took away the GPU overclocking features that used to be in the BIOS. That was the big appeal of this combo, and it sounds like rolling back the BIOS version doesn't help. Probably better off waiting to get the barebones system at a better discount and pair it with a clearance 2400g, that way you can use the included AMD cooler rather than the even cheaper one that comes with the case

If they want barebones builds again the deals need to be better than this. TD was the best back in the day and made it worth it to build yourself. WIth all the refurbs and used desktops on the market there's no reason to spend $200 alone for this when you can get an entire i7 system for the same price.
unless you value this form factor. You aren't sticking a dell optiplex in a backpack and taking it to a friends house or on a road trip

Are you seriously comparing a bulky desktop to this Hard drive sized system with wireless? This is for people that want a tiny package for their TV or small desk.
