Microsoft store has a sale on some Assassin's creed games. It might not be the lowest price, but I think it's not bad if you want one now.

SD rule of thumb for games... Don't buy until you are ready to play. Most of us have big back logs of games, and now with the advent of game pass, and Xbox live games with gold, you might get these for far less than if you bought it now where it would just sit. Especially with assassin's Creed origins which still perplexes me as to how it has held it's value this long VS what supposedly is the superior game of Odyssey.

Just my 2 cents.

I've not finished Origins yet and have Odyssey sealed sitting in the cabinet. Bought it for $15 on a Walmart slick deal I believe. Debating leaving Origins behind and starting it.

I actually finished Origins main campaign with a good # of side quests (didn't bother getting any DLC though). Only played Odyssey around 15 - 20 hours before getting distracted by other games, but it was free anyways. I keep thinking of getting back into it, but doubt I ever will. That's the problem with open world games... too much stuff to do haha.

Xbox only.

The only games that Microsoft sells with both Xbox and Windows (PC) versions are Play Anywhere titles. You can find a list here... https://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/...y-anywhere

I have both the titles, odyssey is the best AC game till date, stopped origin in middle and played odyssey. Completed the main story and cult of kosmos. Tried going back to origins, couldnt play even for 5 mins after odyssey.

Origins and Odyssey were made by different teams at Ubisoft. I personally thought Origins was the better game between the two with better characters and setting

And never buy Ubisoft games new. No one seems to drop the price of their games faster. I bought Far Cry 5 for my son at $40 and knew it would be $20 soon and the following week it was.
