It's a simple kit but my son liked the single piston engine and diff to change forward motion into a piston moving up and down. Good starter Technic set but limited rebuildability unless you already have a bunch of other Technic pcs to add to this design.

Is there a pull back motor like in the WHACK? The Amazon FAQ page says there isn't a "motor".

I just checked the instructions and I was wrong. It has a single piston engine and a rear diff to change the motion of a wheel underneath into the piston moving up and down. I rebuilt it with my son to have a pullback motor because I bought a few from bricklink
