Great price for both detectors. I get a lot of false hits with both, but Honda/Acura blind spot warnings will do that. Fantastic range with both! highly recommend. Especially at this price!

It MIGHT warn you but with laser if you get a warning it's already too late. They make laser jammers for that reason.

No, but if that really is a big issue for you, then a laser jamming system is what you'd want. If the laser beam hit its detector it will let you know but by that point you've been clocked.

Luckily radar is much easier to detect and deal with.

The R7 is the best hands down, I can easily be going triple digits and have time to slow down. The cops in my area are lazy as hell and camp out shooting radar non stop so you know literally a mile + before hand. Perks of living in a poor rural area I guess. I hardly see people running detectors at all and if they do they are walmart pieces of shit that barely work mounted in like a 1989 vandura. Its like, my guy, do you even need that thing?

I finally went in on an R7 since it seems our hope of finding one cheap on ebay after coupon or bucks is gone with the new sales tax policy in place. urlhasbeenblocked isn't on that train yet so I had to get one.
