are you sure this one works with verizon mvnos like straight talk on verizon towers?
This carrier works with all 4 major USA towers, but not all deals are eligible for all their carrier options

I bought this plan last November for 279 plus 15% off via ebay coupon. Hold on guys.
$237.15 was my total out of pocket for this same SIM last November, after coupon & no tax.

That's a steal yummy

Ebay is getting very stingy on 15%, now, though.

I got a similar deal also about a year ago. Red Pocket is making out like a bandit on me because I seldom use more than a couple GB of mobile data per month, but it's nice knowing I have access to 10 GB per month if the need arises.

I'm hoping this comes down to under $250 again, so I can renew for a year. I've been satisfied with my Red Pocket service over AT&T (good coverage and only noticed one data outage that lasted a few hours), but $20 per month is about all cell phone service is worth to me.

Of course I just bought this a month ago for $399. I'm on the GSMA plan and all is well.

The whole point of wanting to have MMS is to avoid the privacy hassle of these apps. ATT needs to get their shit together.
SMS/MMS is probably less insecure than most messaging apps.

Don't see how to choose Verizon. Only see Sprint mentioned. Does ATT prepaid deal have the MMS issues as well?

The 2GB monthly annual plan is the only one you can use Verizon with. It is also on eBay. The 5 & 10GB a month they don't offer with Verizon on the annual plans.

The four lower 500MB and 1GB plans also work with all networks. I know most people don't want those lower data plans, but they work for our family. We use wi-fi for most things, especially streaming video. We turn off cellular data on our video apps. We call it our college savings-plan.

I understand the MMS issue, but what is meant by group text not working? I literally won't be able to send a text to multiple people?

There's also a 3GB plan on Amazon for $255 for Red Pocket Verizon. I'd go with Red Pocket or AT&T's prepaid $25 plan if they allowed unlocked devices to access VoLTE. AT&T has been upgrading/building new sites around my state(Iowa) with LTE only for Firstnet, so coverage has been improving quite a bit. I'd rather keep my device rather than by a new AT&T branded one, so I'll be purchasing the 3gb RP plan next.

I'm on a Verizon MVNO currently and Verizon's deprioritization hits me hard in Des Moines, often < 1mbps in peak usage times. I've read numerous times that AT&T does not deprioritize nearly as aggressively as Verizon.

I meant on iphone, also if you try to group text and one of the person has iphone then your text wont reach them. They wont even be notified about the text.

I switched from Cricket (At&t) to Red Pocket (At&t) a few months ago and the call coverage/quality dropped drastically. Too bad I bought a year's worth of airtime.
