The picture quality is awesome possum on these TV's. The only issue is that the TV has edge lit back-lighting that make for sub par black levels in dark scenes.

This was big for me so I went for the smaller 75" Q8 Series Samsung TV last year for $2,200. I'm SUPER happy with the TV - excellent sound ( like on 7/100 at night while I watch shows). Awesome picture quality and awesome black levels in dark scenes. No light bleeding.

No cons that I can think of.

You can't beat getting 82" Samsung TV for $1800 -ish...........though.

If you cannot understand why people like huge TVs, I would be willing to bet that your "beast theater setup" is as garbage as your comments.

If you buy an 82" TV from a non-Samsung authorized seller and it takes a crap, how would you get it fixed?

If someone does buy this, make sure to activate the 8% ebay bucks promo. That will give $100 back in ebay bucks. https://slickdeals.net/f/13471249-ebay-8-back-in-ebay-bucks-ymmv?v=1&src=SiteSearch
Or wait until next month for Black Friday deals.

Am I the only one still using a DLP tv? 73" Mitsubishi HD TV to be exact.
Good ol days.

I actually liked those TVs, seemed better with reflections etc. Too bad thinness has become an obsession.

I am rocking the same tv, contemplating updating at some point...just don't know when. Haha
