Very nice price for the specs. I may have to pick one of these up.

It has a multi-zone feature that I guess works like a split screen when using the LG software. Otherwise, there's no hardware specific support for multiple inputs afaik.

Any monitor can do split screen. It is a software function and has nothing to do with the monitor. Some monitors come with split screen software you can install on your PC, but there are tons of options available.

If you mean, can it accept multiple inputs, then it is a hardware function of the monitor. This one cannot accept and display multiple inputs.

Sounds like user error.

It's been this price for several months - I bought one and I like it; It really shines at gaming.

If I had one complaint it's that it's hard to get it dim enough for regular web-browsing in a darkened room. Only a couple of the presets are 'unlocked' for brightness, contrast, sharpness adjustment, and the rest are eye-searingly bright (at least in a dark room).

I use browser extensions to dim some web pages as a work-around, but it's not perfect.

way to be a douche...

nobody asks "can it do splitscreen" and mean "can i do splitscreen, on one input, via software". that's just silly bro. everybody asks because they want two separate physical inputs on the screen at the same time, like TVs used to do back in the day... either splitscreen or PiP.

FYI, there is a big difference between split-screen and multi-client. If someone asks "Can it do split-screen" then the answer are going to be related to split-screen capabilities and not multi-client capabilities.

LG literally calls the feature "Screen Split" and the nomenclature has been "Split Screen" for the last few decades... you can play the semantics game all you want, but when it's the name of a feature used by vendors, you can't fault people for using it.

"Split Screen" always means multiple physical inputs, displayed on the screen at once, controlled directly by the monitor (be it via the OSD or a software utility that talks to the monitor.)

I don't get it. Is this a magic show?
