Probably depends on if it's cloudy and/or she leaves the blinds open or not.

How are these for looking up at night sky (moon and stars) and the neighbors across the way?

Is the other deal item "Bushnell Legend Ultra HD Roof Prism Binocular" better than this one?https://www.amazon.com/Bushnell-L...th=1&psc=1

Ignore the price, does that one produce a better image? Is 42mm objective lens too small?

I picked up the Legend 8x42 for 100 on that last posted deal. The legends are way better. I like having the extra eye relief on the legends, and while it's 42 vs 50, I doubt you'd notice the difference, especially with the legend's optics being better.

If you want a super budget bino set, this can work I suppose. It's not waterproof like the legends, and I doubt it carries the same lifetime warranty as well.
