Just a quick add. No one has talked about the extra items they mention you will receive, for the $45 one (which I got as a similar deal a few months ago) it says you should get the following items as well.
-Bonus Rotisserie chicken
-Bonus Member's Mark Baguettes or French Bread (2-pack)
-Bonus Member's Mark prepared Macaroni & Cheese
-Bonus Member's Mark Fresh Apple, Pecan, or French Silk Pie
We didn't get any of them. Granted I didn't put in a lot of effort because we broken even with the giftcards, but just so others are aware there may be extra steps or a trip to customer services needed to get those items.
Are you talking about the freebies from the treasure hunt game? I never got them either, but considering that I came out $10 ahead from the GC's and the Amex credit, I didn't bother pursuing it.

Each store has its positives and negatives. For my family it works out kinda like this:

Sam's: members mark TP+ over Costco (per the wife), the chicken isn't as salty as the Costco ones are by us. Scan and Go huge +++ over the immense lines at Costco. I won't even go to Costco midday. I can make a quick run into Sam's with the app and not have an issue. Sam's plus members store opens at 7am, massive+++ as I don't really want to plan my day around going to the store. I want to go, and get the stuff home and enjoy the rest of my day.

Costco, seems to have a wider selection, has the Korean BBQ jerky +++. Slightly higher quality of meats IMO however, slightly more expensive as well. Top tier gas at Costco fuel stations. 40 unit bottled water cases vs 48 at Sam's so I don't break my back.

They are fairly equal with a few differences between them but I give the nod to Sam's even after paying the extra $40 over Costco for the plus membership. Being open at 7am and scan and go really are the tipping point and worth the extra money to me. YMMV

I never got the $25 online order gift card from when this deal was posted in June/July. Is there anyone I should talk to about that or is it just an automated deal that got screwed up? Otherwise Sams is a good change of pace from Costco. Definitely enjoy the scan and go.
Chat over Sam's website. Expect some resistance if you get a bad CSR. Just open a new chat until you get one that isn't an asshole. I had to have my issue "escalated" but they eventually sent it.

What membership store doesn't?
Some stores don't depending on the GM but by law you don't need a card to eat at the café, use the pharmacy. Now it's rolling out as mandatory at all locations. They're trying to cut down on fraudulent use of membership cards shared between many people. I watched the door for a few minutes the last time I was in there. They're pissing off a BIG chunk of their customers. Just keep walking peeps.

Remember to use all those freebies right away. They expire in 30 days.

To be honest, I wish all stores did this. This would keep unnecessary foot traffic down. The Sams/Costco I go to have way to many people in the food court because its located outside.

I was talking about the fact that Costco does not give a d**n if you passed the background checks necessary to have a cincealed carry license, they will not let you carry to protect yourself in their store, which means you also cannot carry while going to or from your car in the parking lot. They will not protect you, the Supreme Court has ruled that police have no duty to protect you, even if by some miracle they happened to be there; only you can protect yourself, and Costco will not let you. Any business that feels they have the need to interfere with my right to protect myself and my family will not be getting any of my money.

The $90 deal is likely the best to get - mainly because you can downgrade from Plus to regular at any point and get reimbursed the prorated difference in membership costs.

Get yourself some free shipping for items needed right away then downgrade membership after your first online purchase and getting the $25 GC...that is if your membership still remains at the 15 month term and doesn't also downgrade to a 12 month term.

No, you will either have to have your spouse or bf/gf do it and be on as the secondary.

If you bothered to do any research, you would see that concealed carry license holders are safer and commit crimes at a much lower rate than police.

No, that is not a fact. After you get rid of the sheepdogs, don't go crying when the wolves show up to slaughter the sheep.
I would feel a lot safer if nutjobs with anger issues were not allowed to concealed carry.

If their anger issues have ever caused them to run afoul of the law, they are not legally allowed to concealed carry.

I need tires.
I hate buying tires.
Every place is trying to up-sell or just don't care about me.
I'm thinking Sams, being a "club" might not treat me like dirt.
For example:
Firestone...quoted me a price over the phone which I liked. I made an appointment and went in. I ignored the up-sell and stuck with the quote. An hour after my "appointment" time my car was still sitting where I parked when I came in. All I got was double talk. Besides I was really pi$$ed with how they treated "an old lady". They sold her "Life time wheel alignment check" for $70. While she waited she had second thoughts and started asking questions...."Oh, you should have your alignment checked every three months"....what bull. I got my keys back and left.

Tire Discount. Not quite as bad. Had an appointment. I refused the up-sell. They took the car in and put it on the rack. There it sat for 1.5 hours. Finally I bitched and they started work on it.

Walmart....thinking no up-sell. Went in, no appointment, got a good price and no up-sell. They put the tires on in 30 minutes or less. Then....the BIG WAIT. They had to have some supervisor inspect the work. I guess they can't trust their employees. It took over 20 minutes for the supervisor who did a walk around and I was free. Late for a meeting but free. Then next day I notice 1 valve cap missing. Two are black rubber, one is metal. Just the week before I bought the set of 4 metal caps from Walmart. I went back and bitched. They found my caps in 2 minutes and put them on.

What can anyone tell me about buying tires at Sam's
