At least and at a minimum explain why. For example, did you purchase this and have issues or did you not like the backlight and contrast? That at least would be helpful to others than just stating "buy a projector and screen".

EDIT: To add some constructive feedback, your comment doesn't factor into account that someone buying this could be using it for a recreational space, a spare bedroom, basement, outdoor porch. So your comment carries no weight nor adds value to the deal and discussion.

I purchased this television last Black Friday. I just moved to Houston and the movers actually dropped and shattered this TV -- I looked up the price, and sure enough, it was down to $750 as of two weeks ago, so I'm having that much reimbursed.

.. and I'm happy to be rid of it. For $750, it's definitely an okay television. When the image is bright, however, you can clearly discern the 'bar' effect on the screen (think of a sine wave -- there are repeating patches that are brighter and darker than others). I'm going to plop down $1200 this Black Friday and get something better.

Please dont by this TV. Get a projector and 100" motorized screen instead. It's well worth it and the same price. This tv is trash...I mean pure garbage.

I'll detail my setup when I review it. It's going in the living room. Worst case scenario, I'll take it back to Walmart if it's that bad. But I'm thinking since they left off the smart stuff, they might have put the value into just the display..

I'll plug in a Roku and see how that performs.

I was able to lift it off my truck by myself and get into the house without too much work. I had it delivered to Walmart because I figured it gets damaged between Walmart and delivery to the front door..

Last year Black Friday deal at the same price. Review seems okay, many callout about the sounds.. at this size you would want to have surround or surroundbar speaker/s anyway.

This has been this price for months.
I opted for the Hisense Roku TV for $799 instead.

I checked back and it looks like it went to $750 on 9/29/19. Before that it was $800. So that's like one month and not months like you say. Still a great price as things stand right now..

Also since this Sceptre doesn't have smarts I'm thinking they put more value into the display.
