IHG points can't be redeemed for cash.

As a ballpark rule you can usually get roughly 0.5 cents per point in hotel room value out of em- there's exceptions on both ends of the spectrum of course- especially if you use the 4th night free on reward stays benefit.

This particular card isn't really worth a 5/24 slot for most though- especially when there's a Premier IHG card that has offered as high as 125k points for a signup bonus, an annual free night, and IHG Platinum status.

That one does have an $89 annual fee, but given you get another free night every year when you pay it it's still a good deal (and obviously for the signup points it's better than this deal, plus the platinum status

It's 💩 on points. It's better to get a free night with an annual fee. I have over 60k on points with an annual fee of $50. The ratio isn't that good but I am only keeping my card bc I get a free night annual.

Reward nights vary, like most chains... IHG has 13 categories- Category 1 is 10,000 points a night, and they go up 5k per category up to category 13. They also have a quarterly list of point break hotels where you book as cheap as 5k a night but it's usually not an awesome list.

IHG, like Marriot, owns a TON of different types of hotels, so quality can vary wildly between them.
