I bought this exact TV from this exact seller for $50 more about a month ago. It's a fantastic TV, picture quality is flawless and I'm very happy with the purchase.

Only thing to be wary of - my first set was broken on arrival. Thankfully their customer service was fairly top notch and contacted me the next day. Fedex came and picked up the broken set and they shipped me a new one as soon as fedex came. Slightly annoyed it was 3-4 day shipping again, but I did end up with a working TV set without having to go through too much trouble with the return.

Always a risk buying online for that reason, but at least this seller is responsive to damaged deliveries.

It's the one I'm getting once I can get a better deal at best buy than what they have now. I have $600 in points and a few hundred in gift cards to use.

Is there much of a difference between this and the Q90?

The Q90 has more dimming zones, which at least in theory gives you a better picture especially with nighttime scenes. The Q90 also uses the One Connect Box (Q80 connections are all on the back of the TV), so that may be a deal breaker for some depending on if you like having only one cord going to the TV.

I have the Q80 after owning a Samsung JS8500, and I think the TV is excellent.

How is there such a price difference between authorized dealers or local stores and these sellers selling for at least $800 less? Are these TVs somehow different?

No not different. I still think they make a profit because Samsung was selling this exact TV for $1499 for EPP members a couple of weeks ago. Retailers that get overstocked try to clear them out by dropping them this low. I'm pretty sure Samsung was also overstocked and that's why they dropped it that low as well.

As always with OLED, it depends on your TV usage. If its in a bright room, get the Samsung. If its going in a dark room, or a room where you can control the lighting, get the OLED

Do anyone thinks that its gonna get lower than this by the time of black friday? I am not in a hurry to buy it anyways.

Also which are the best options for 65" , under $2000 ?

Appreciate your time to reply. Cheers.

I agree, OLED for a bedroom, QLED for a main living room TV.
