Maybe when you're raised with that fake stuff you're used to it, but that awful soap opera haze looks like absolute garbage. First thing to find and turn off, good on Vizio not including!

Nice, I think it is worth it over the Walmart version that has less dimming. Now to get Best Buy to price match it.

Why Best Buy? Isn't Amazon's return policy much better?

What is the difference between this one (M558), and Costco's offering (M557):
https://www.costco.com/vizio-55%2...90263.html ?

(Other than the price of course)

From rtings:

Note that the M**7 variants (M507-G1, M557-G0, M657-G0) have a more limited local dimming feature, with between 12 and 20 dimming zones. We don't know for sure how it performs, though.

I think Amazon has a 30 day return policy while Best Buy is 15. I'd prefer Best Buy for the sake of convenience. Don't have to go through the process of shipping it to return it, and then waiting until it arrives at the Amazon Warehouse to then initiate the refund.

Tcl 6 series 2018 55 inch. 400 dollars at costco - better tv than this with far better warrantees and return policy.

You didn't ask me, but I 'Think' Best Buy has a better return policy for a TV. I don't know if you can just return a used TV to Amazon for free just because 'you didn't like it'. I think they charge you for the return shipping in that case.
I bought last year's 55" M-series. Luckily I got it from Costco, because I didn't like it and Costco is cool about returns.
