What's the equivalent of this TV in terms of their previous models like the 850e or 850f

At the moment Amazon is price matching both the 55" and the 49" sizes.

The LG 8000 is VA, not IPS.

In the mid cost IPS panel realm, the 2019 LG UM7300 IPS is a weaker TV, but the previous 2018 LG IPS at the same level was stronger than this Sony and can still be found new.

This Sony has better view angles, but the LG is better at motion and has a metal frame.

Good TV for the price, I've got a Sony 830F that's been fantastic.

when I got my 4k tv about 2 years ago? it said it has HDR, but the HDR is terrible and equal to having none.

is this still the case with the lower end TVs? they all say HDR10, or whatever, but I wonder is it the true HDR now? just curious if I should update this black Friday.

if you can give example in Samsung, which models have "fake hdr" and which you need to get for the real deal?
