I know this may sound crazy, but my 6 qt. used to have the same problem.... until I figured out that my silicone seal had a "right way" and a "wrong way". As long as I keep the lettering right next to the lid top ( away from the rim) I have no issues.
thanks for the tip. i will be sure to check the fit and placement.

How's this one for rice cooking? will be using it for pressure cooking and rice cooking
It can't compare to a zojirushi rice cooker. As an Asian, I can't recommend this one for cooking rice. Cooks everything else great though!

Not really sure how, unfortunately, but I got a $20.00 and a $5.00 "courtesy credit" that was applied towards my purchase of this. I went ahead and added the 4-year warranty knowing I had a $34 gift card, and my total came out to $60.13. Slick indeed!

Ninja is lot more money but basically includes air fryer. Wait for BF if you can.

I bought one, Amazon return policy states items can be returned within 30 days of receipt of delivery. and items shipped between November 1st and December 31st can be returned until january 31st. I ordered with slow shipping for $1 digital credit so I should have more than a month return window if I get it Nov 5-6th, and I should actually have a return window until January 31st.

Been wanting one for a while and past slickdeals for the 8-QT Ultra have been around $120 so if I don't get one black friday/cyber monday then i'll still have gotten a good price.

Hope this helps someone make a decision on to order or not! Smilie

Depending on your model, there may be rice button (designed for white rice). Because it is a pressure cooker, you do a 1:1 ratio. You can read more on their official site, or the MANY different "recipes" out there for it. https://instantpot.com/how-to-coo...re-cooker/
I eyeball it between 1/8 to 1/4" of water above the rice for white rice or brown rice . I never measured my rice,

Can't find many reviews except in costco, anyone got exp with this one? only 54 bucks and seems to got it all, rice cooker, soud vide, pressure cooker. Wonder if I should get this one or costco one.

https://www.costco.com/tristar-po...07991.html
I have this 8qt minus the bundled accessories. It's a high pressure machine with a boil method yogurt program. But the Facebook user group has a cold start method using the sous vide. Go to PressureCookingToday.com and read their article re. Power Quick Pot. It's a fantastic deal for that Costco $54, but has only a 6 week warranty. But you have Costco backing it, and eople don't have a lot of problems with this machine being DOA. The Facebook group has 1st Power Quick Pot in the title. The manual sucks, but the PressureCookingToday article takes the mystery out of the controls.
