I just joined Costco on a membership deal posted here.

Has anyone seen a better deal for this on Black Friday at Costco?

I just priced this out on the SimpliSafe.com website, and their price for a system including these components is $267.41, Including a 25% off coupon and a free SimpliCam camera (currently selling for $50 at Best Buy). Personally, I think this is a smoking deal provided you're looking for all of the components and like SimpliSafe. (There are people who LOVE SimpliSafe and people who HATE SimpliSafe - I've been using SimpliSafe for about 3 years…)

Yes, 15$ /Mon for the basic monitoring (no remote alarm control via mobile app nor web). 25$ / Mon come with everything and 30 days cloud storage for all SimpliSafe cameras.

Good deal, but too bad it's only for the starter kit.

Wow... $25/month seems high.... any way to get that down?

How do people justify paying that much? It seems like $10 a month or $100 per year should be more than enough, but $300 per year?

Just an FYI, this system was proven to be defeated by a garage door opener: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UlNkQJzw4oA

Good point, and one reason why I don't post signs outside my house advertising what system I have. I figure that most systems out there can be defeated one way or the other. I want to make it a bit harder and take a bit more time to break in to my house. With the two SimpliCams I just purchased, the dispatch center will now be able to confirm a break-in remotely.
