tons of them around here … these are PERFECT to buy just for the remote …. without all those stupid side buttons that drain batteries and these work on all the better Rokus (Ultras)
The stupid buttons that control the volume lol? Doesn't look like it has a power button either.

I wish people would stop posting stuff like this. Brick seek is just not reliable. The cheapest that shows up in store or online is $22. Not $7.00. Brick seek is not affiliated with Walmart. You know how annoying people must get when people walk in and show them a 3rd party app and argue that it says in stock and a certain price but yet it's the complete opposite? I would understand if it was the actual Walmart app but it's not... so please OP, any future OPs, just stop. It's a waste of time getting our hopes up for something that is like 1% reliable. Thank you for trying to help others get a good deal but in this case it's no help.
No, YOU STOP.

Your opinion is just that, an opinion.

For many brickseek is reliable or at least, reliable "enough". Just yesterday, THANKS to brickseek and another generous soul that posted it, I was able to score a Samsung S4 tablet for 299. That's why these deals are "YMMV".

Whine less, adjust your perspective and take a pill.

Not even close to the generation in this deal. The Express is less than 2 years old and will be supported for a while.

The first 2 released models. I would hope people would of upgraded since those just for the players response time. There's a bunch of apps that won't install on them, not just Netflix.

you're new to this aren't you? stop using brickseek until you decide to use it properly within the recommended guidelines: https://help.brickseek.com/hc/en-...-Questions

anyone who misuses it deserves the pain and headache you mentioned. the only abuse that is real that you failed to mention is the ridiculous and ignorant and unethical behavior by walmart employees.

What I usually do with Walmart YMMV deals like this is:

1. look at brickseek first. If there is a store by me with stock, I take note of the zip code.
2. Go to Walmart app. Find the item and check if it's available in store. Use the zipcode to find the exact store. It'll have an in store price AND state what aisle it is located in.
3. Go to store to get item. Even after doing this double check, sometimes the item still isn't available though

These Roku's should also be able to mostly replace a cable box from Comcast. We use them to get live TV at various TVs - https://www.xfinity.com/support/a...pp-on-roku

We have them on the kid's TVs and they can pull up live TV from Comcast without the cost of a cable box rental and without cable coax at the TV.

This guy also says he has had luck with the Roku 3900RW - https://forums.xfinity.com/t5/Str...-p/3265222

I just took a screenshot and they are definitely $7 at the local Walmarts around me; however, the app wouldn't allow me to purchase online for the $7. This is definitely a first come first serve clearance item.

Went to local Walmart 44060 and they wouldn't honor the $7. Best they would do is $22 because their app wasnt showing $7

Are these locked up or out on the floor? I wonder how easy it is to determine if it is the 'old' model or the 'new' ($22) one. Local WM shows 6+ in stock.

I sent my wife on a wild goose chase trying to get this Friday. The store showed 3-5 in stock, there were none, and this has happened every single time I've tried to use BrickSeek.

I agree just Slightly different take on the issue of brick and mortar clearance sales.
I think they should post these because it's not a bad deal if you wanna take a chance of going in
But
it should be in a separate section or folder where you have featured deals and another where you have brick and mortar deals. So you know all in this tab is online only and others is brick and mortar only
