Looks like a good deal for a 43" 4k, refurbished Walmart style. $13 for a 3 year Walmart service plan.

4 times the resolution of Full HD brings your viewing experience to the whole new level. Enjoy every detail and the breathtaking beauty of the pictures. High Dynamic Range (HDR10) is a technology lets you experience more detail and captivating colors for an even more engaging television experience. More perceivable shades of blacks, whites and all other colors. This boils down to greater perceived brightness and contrast with darker shadows creating a breathtaking image. Philips NetTV is built for streaming. With a simple push of a button, gain instant access to popular streaming applications such as Netflix, Vudu, YouTube, all within a clutter-free, easy to use interface. Visit the App Store to download additional content from our extensive entertainment library, with entertainment options to suit everyone. Surf the web on your big screen TV, all without the need of connecting a computer. Enjoy smooth streaming of up-to 4K content with the powerful, built-in Wireless 802.11ac MIMO Dual-Band chipset. Refurbished Philips 43" Class 4K (2160P) LED TV (43PFL5603/F7)

Correct, it is only $13 for 3 years, not $26. I bought 2. I are math.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

it costs more to have my degree framed than it does to buy this and a wall mount to have it display my degree.

that said, i still dont want this tv nor will i frame my degree.
It costs more to get a fake electric insert for my living room brick fireplace, so I'm thinking of getting this to run the Netflix fireplace movie on loop this season....

... then in the summer use it outside? Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

This seems pretty solid buy. Any reason to be worried about it being refurbished?

Walmart has a long established history of selling refurbished tvs that arrived smashed. Not sure if that has changed much but the brand/quality would give me hesitation on pulling the trigger, especially with Black Friday coming up. Personally, I would wait for a new tv on BF.

thought about buying this one yesterday. i decided against it. if you were to get a comparable tcl tv, it'd be around $100 more and you'd be getting a lot of extra value for the $100 that i can justify. decided not to cheap out on this one and have a tv that i could possibly be frustrated/unhappy with

Bought one, arriving next week, needed one now since mine just stopped working a couple of days ago and was waiting for BF too, but this seems like a solid deal if you are not looking for bells and whistles, so let's hope it arrives in one piece!

As someone who has a Phillips smart tv I would choose a streaming box to pair with this instead of using the built in apps. If your streaming needs begin and end with Netflix/Hulu/youtube then you'll be fine, but if you use plex like me the file browser in the smart tv can find my plex server but without the actual plex interface. I use an Apple TV 4K instead because of no ads like Roku or amazon tv, but that choice is up to you.
I'm curious, what kind of "Smart TV OS" does it use? Is it Opera TV/Vewd?

Its not just refurbs, it's TV's in general. They often just ship the tv in it's retail box or put it in a box slightly larger than the retail box it's already in.

I've had best buy ship a couple that were smashed as well, it's not just a Walmart problem, but you do hear about Walmart doing it more often. They have definitely gotten better about it in the past year and a half or so though.
