This is the price for the light alone. Some with battery but with both battery (5amp) and charger , this is a no brainer.An excellent deal indeed! I bought this instead of the dewalt light because of durability / design and most importantly flexibility - can use either battery or extension cord.

Great deal esp if you return the battery + charger. Light is then around 108 if my math is right.

I have... if you buy within the store, no problem. Online... no luck, had to return both OR nothing.

Yup - purchase in store, drop the item off in the car come right back in and return the item you don't want (battery) with the receipt. No issues at all. You are not doing anything wrong at all.

This is a great light. I got it on a combo with the battery, but not with charger. OTOH I didn't need any more chargers anyway. (note this is not the Rapid Charge charger chat usually comes with the 9 or 12AH battery systems -- but it will still charge those -- just takes a bit longer).

As for the buyy and return, personally I don't like that. Yes, maybe it's not fraud or a "crime," but it's just not something I feel we should be doing. Please TD me if U like. Why not keep what you need and if you don't need the charger, donate to Habitat for Humanity or some other local organization. Same with older tools if you are getting new ones. Why always try to cheat the system? "The grabbing hands grab all they can, all for themselves, after all.. it's a competitive world...."

I don't get why people get weird about the returns. HD puts the return price on the receipt so you can return one item if you want. They allow you to do this. There is nothing unethical about it. If it starts costing them money they will stop doing it.
