The Magenta First Responder plan includes unlimited talk, text, and smartphone data; SD video streaming; 3GB of 4G LTE mobile hotspot usage; 5GB of 4G data in Mexico and Canada; data and text usage abroad; 1 hour of in-flight Wi-Fi; and the Basic Netflix plan that offers streaming on 1 device at a time at SD quality.

Also available is the Magenta Plus First Responders plan. For $35 per line with a family of four with autopay, this plan includes everything included with the standard Magenta First Responder plan but adds HD video streaming, 20GB of 4G LTE usage, double data speeds when traveling abroad, and the Standard Netflix plan with streaming on devices at HD quality. It also includes unlimited in-flight Wi-Fi, Name ID, and Voicemail to text.

Pricing for these plans starts at $55 for a single line on Magenta First Responder, while Magenta Plus First Responder starts at $50 per line on a two-line family plan.

Customers interested in this deal will need to buy a new phone on an Equipment Installment Plan and have or activate a voice line on a qualified plan. The half-off discount for the new phone is applied via monthly bill credits.

Anyone have experience with their service in Texas? It's tough to get good coverage here. I don't want to switch from Verizon unless I know my coverage will be decent.

Could pick up a prepaid sim and throw it in your phone. Worst case scenario you lose a few bucks, best case scenario you could switch after and make your money back in a few months

my point is you have to add a new line and keep that line for 24 months for the credits. Its not worth the half price discount for most people who dont need a new line.

For t-mobile the best deal is usually thru costco with prepaid debit card instead of monthly bill credit

That's not accurate. You don't have to add a new line to get the 50% off per the T&Cs of this deal.

This is super cool. Had reps come through the job with AT&T's first responder plan and thought it was a great idea, but AT&T's a A-no&go for me. Now that TMo has it now...I'll pass this along to the team in the morning.

The week they created the T-Mo Military plan, I got an S9+ for 50% off, which was nice. I guess they offer a similar special every time a new type of plan is unveiled.

We have T-Mobile One Military but I notice it's not on the site anymore. Maybe it's only Magenta Military now. Not sure if there's an actual difference between the two plans or if we're even eligible for this deal at all. I'm gonna contact them tomorrow.
