Remember... Ultra has a round knob on front and they are very easily identifiable.

That is incorrect! Its NOT a Duo plus.

https://instantpot.com/portfolio-item/viva-6-qt/

This is the Viva model that was at 79.99 last year and regularly sells for 129.99. For 70 its a great price if in market for an 8Qt.

To identify the Duoplus easily... remember its got the blue digital display vs the RED digi display.

Hey, folks. THIS APPEARS TO BE THE 2018 VIVA, NO SOUS VIDE. Both the Duo Plus and Viva have gotten a late 2019 refresh that adds Sous Vide and a self closing release valve on a lid like the Ultra has. So look closely for Sous Vide button before you decide how much you're willing to pay if it's the older model.. Costco has the Duo SV. Duo SV, new Duo Plus, new Viva: These are 3 similar machines with slight differences in features.

The new Duo Plus lost Multigrain, and the Viva appears to have lost Steam. (Lost those programs when Sous Vide was added.)

I bought the newest model, Duo Evo Plus. Look up the review on Amy + Jacky to see unique new features. So far, I like it. It doesn't have a high altitude adjustment like the Ultra and Max, though.

Remember, if you don't understand something you just read, always try Google to help clear up your confusion.

might be in for one of these but i'd have to travel so i have a question:

can i get one of those day passes at sams club still to specifically buy one of those on the 9th? or is there some sort of bull where if you're not a member you can't get it for that price regardless.

You're better off waiting for a deal at Kohl's in a few weeks. Coupons plus cashback with Chase 5 percent and KC drives the price below $60 IIRC

What things do you find yourself most often make in these? (I'm not asking what it's capable of cooking.) Also, is it easier to roast a whole chicken in an instant pot than an oven, or just faster? Thanks.
