So, how is the viewing angle really on this? I read the review on Rtings, but looking for other opinions on this. Will be in a bonus room with a sectional couch, but the TV will be on a swivel mount - so not sure if will be an issue.

I bought the Samsung RU8000 at Frys San Marcos (item# 9931806 ) for 699 with free local delivery. Selling for 1k everywhere else.

Are there any differences between the 82" and 85" besides the 3"? It seems so odd to offer two TVs with such a small gap. Perhaps more dimming zones?

So its worth waiting for Q90 to drop in price? I currently have no TV but not in a rush.

I'd wait with no rush on your end. I'd say at or sub $2500 for q90 and you might bite depending on size your looking for. I was referencing 75 inch at that price

I've seen roughly $1650-1700 for the q90 65" so far. Definitely not sub $1000 for that tv right now.

Tried repairing my 60" plasma for the 2nd time last night, and blew some caps off the board. I could replace the caps and maybe get a couple more months before the video board fails again... but it's time to replace it. Holding out for BF and hopefully an ~85".
