the hisense stinks. Overblown colors and yellow tint on the sides of the tv. Broken firmware. Its a 8bit +frc. Not even a true 10 bit panel. The tcl r625 excellent colors, accurate, brightness is high maybe not as bright as the h9f but people think brightness is everything. They both hit 1000 nits..tcl has better blacks level and contrast a true 10bit panel. Samsung made the panel. Hisense is crap. Trust me on this one.

Same boat
I really don't see this as competitive with the Q70 or Sony 900.

Spoken like someone who has never actually seen the TV in person. Or were you relying on a best buy employee who sets up the low markup TV's to look as bad as possible ?
Get smart.
I haven't seen the tv? I had the tv. I sent it back and got the R625..Get Dumb....lol

I had the 75" Quantum X for almost the fully 90 days from Costco. I ended up returning it. Massive amount of vertical banding (can be seen in many panning scenes and video games), inconsistent HDR (bright at times, super dim during others), super slow OS, and other various issues. Check AVSForums for others having these complaints.

I also own an LG C8 OLED, and before the Vizio I had a 65" Sony X930E (amazing TV). I ended up getting a 75" Sony X950G. While it's not quantum dot, I haven't run into any quality issues.
Just so you know, the X950G does use a quantum dot film just like basically every higher end Sony TV since 2013. People seem to completely misunderstand this since they don't use the good ol' "Q" in their marketing, but yeah, they were the first to use a QD enhanced backlight and have continued to use them since. People also confuse the phosphor tech used for their "LIVE COLOR" settings as the replacement for the QD film on the backlight. This is also incorrect as it is a separate technology.

Looks like it's available on Best Buy right now for the same price.

Need this at Costco for the extended warranty. Wish the upconversion was better on 720p and 1080i signals. Otherwise a great set.
As much as I have developed a disliking for Sony. I can honestly state that Sont TVs have the best processors for image upconversion,

Is the px65 going to be available in store, does anyone know? I'm looking at the site and it's only showing a shipping and delivery date, which for me is Nov 22. Best Buy is selling for the same price and showing Nov 13th pick up.

The Vizio picture is going to be much better. I've been going back and forth on this for a while now with these same sets. I want a 75", the ru8000 is $1300, but I would be sacrificing screen quality for size. The Vizio px75 is $2700, too rich for me. So I was trying to determine if I want a better screen but in 65 or a bigger screen that was good but not quite as good. I even asked alot of ppl for opinions, everyone said they would take the 65 with the better screen over the bigger set. I decided to get the Vizio 65.

Yes, it's available in store. The electronics department rep at my local store recommended that I arrive when the store opens at 7am just to make sure that they don't sell out before I get there.

Awesome! This is the way to go if you don't mind waiting for free delivery (Nov 18 for me). Also, go through RetailMeNot to get to the BB site to get an extra 10% cashback. I had BB gift cards laying around as well, so this was a real steal with all of the combined discounts.

Did you calibrate it or just use it straight out of the box? Whenever I see display issues like you're describing I find that calibrating helps quite a bit.

Yes, don't buy the Samsung until they start supporting dolbyvision. That is the best HDR technology on the market and it's rapidly becoming the standard for 4K movies.

This is why I like hearing first hand reviews. Rtings doesn't agree with you, but that's ok. The more info we have, the more informed decision we can make.
But rtings does have the Hisense as the best budget tv so far this year, with a close rating to the Vizio. Also I see many things issues about this set that rtings didn't mention.
