Pretty easy to add RAM and SSD DIY.

You will need to get a HDD cable and frame for SSD installation from eBay/Amazon, ~ $30 total.

it comes with an SSD. Why would you need another cable, unless there's another HDD slot? Is there?

i5-1035G1

G1 is the lowest level graphics card you can get for that Intel generation. It's pretty much the slowest graphics processor for midrange laptops that you can buy for that generation

The SSD included is NVMe.

My original post is talking about to add an extra SSD, please read the comment carefully.

I don't think that is completely true. Relative to the i3-8130U with the 620 GPU, which went for $300 HP at Costco in last year BF sale (and still/since), the G1 is reportedly an improvement. From notebookcheck.net [notebookcheck.net]:
"The performance should above the old Intel UHD Graphics 620 (Gen. 9.5) that was e.g. found in Whiskey Lake processors (thanks to the higher core count and improved architecture). Most likely the G1 graphics wont reach the performance of the old Iris Plus 640 that offered more cores and 64 MB eDRAM. Therefore, only a few new AAA games can be played fluently with the UHD Graphics G1.

A special new feature of the Gen11 graphics card is the new Variable Rate Shading (VRS) support...

Another improved hardware piece is the integrated video de- and encoder that was improved significantly according to Intel...."
In other words, Intel still doesn't make a low end GPU that is good for gaming (as does AMD), but for non-gaming purposes like video encoding etc. the G1 is probably an incremental improvement.
