Personally I'd want better specs for an Open Box at this price.

Why all the hate? This is actually a very good deal if you can find one in your area.

Found a few.

Is the 1660TI Max Q faster?
Edit: reviews state that some panels can be OC'd to 120hz.

~10-20% faster than 1060 depending on the game.

Solid deal if they end up being in good shape. If not I can always return it. TDs are probably from people who couldn't find the deal in their area. I found 1 and another a little more expensive (in better condition) but got it anyway for my son.

Idk why the negativity. This is a good deal for this price! The Best Buy i went to allowed me to check out the laptop and turn it on before i even purchased it. Plus they give you 2 weeks to return it . I just had to find myself a 180w charger. For those who are looking for gaming laptop and have a budget its a good choice.

If you prefer brand new with a box then obviously this isn't for you ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Picked up one of mine yesterday and it was listed as Open Box Satisfactory. It looked like it was the display model, but to be honest I would rate it as Good if not Excellent. No scratches or signs of wear at all.

Found one for $480 (524). When I called CS said they didn't "have" any, which is code for, they want it for themselves.

CB should be $19, then I already have 25 pending. Assuming it's in stock this is an excellent price for a hexacore, should do wonders for content creation. I'll sell my current laptop to help reduce the cost too.

Edit: Is this model dual NVMe or M.2 + SATA?

Open box is sorta similar to pricing. I got a Y50-70 in 2015 for 540, which was less than its selling price at the time.

Edit: Pickup order is prepared. Shame on the store associate that claimed all open box were oos.
