Philo for $20 is a great option if sports are NOT important to you. I dumped directv now after they increased my GoBig to $50 - $35 was a good deal but not so much at 60 - the new rate

im waiting for the email so I can tell them to go kick rocks.
I tried fubotv. really liked the UI and being able to watch two shows at the same time (pip) was great! but.. they don't carry ESPN. Might have to look Sling or YTT

Same here. I M thinking going YouTube tv route. Are there are any other viable options?
I was also considering YouTube TV but unfortunately it doesn't have Viacom channels (MTV, Comedy Central, etc.) and that's a requirement.

I like Youtube tv. It's not perfect... but I really like the unlimited dvr space... I didn't like the $10 price increase for shows I don't watch... but it wasn't enough to push me to hulu.

Just quite myself, they wanted $50 more dollars for standard service, w/ no premium channels. Good by DirecTV

I dropped it when they raise the price to $50, now I have Netflix, Disney+ (soon), Youtube (Free) and a TV antenna hooked up to an HDHomeRun (for some rare events or sports)

Beside the initial investment i'm paying around 20/month.

There are too many streaming options and they are killing each other for exclusive content, HBO Max just paid 500M for South Park series

i think slingtv is the best deal imo. $25 a month for blue is great... but if you want all the channels its still not bad at $40 a month.
Yeah but their interface is pretty horrible

Well dang it. ATT TV Now (formerly DirecTV Now) was the last of the affordable ones. I don't see an email yet, but when it arrives, I'll just shut it off. It really isn't even worth $50 a month, but I got to see the channels I wanted. I hope it lasts until January - I just want to watch Mr. Robot, Formula One, and the College Football Bowl Games!

I had the feeling though, that once ATT changed the name, to good times were over. I swear, ATT ruins everything they touch. They're like the exact opposite of Midas.

Well I'm switching now. I'm going to miss on demand and logging into sites to watch shows but I'll live.

Edit: Is this a change for all plans or the live a little plan as well?

http://www.Suppose.tv is a great site for comparing streaming cable packages. Just punch in what channels you want, what features you need and it will tell you what service offers it and for how much.

For the longest time I thought Comcast had a 1TB download/upload cap on my internet service. I didn't realize that its not nation wide. I was constantly having to plan ahead to make sure I wasn't over 1TB. I'm at 1.35TBs and it feels good. I should smash that in November. Comcast is wicked expensive though. Like $130 a month is the bill for internet and TV. These service providers are criminal. The bill has fees like $8 a month for sports and another $7 for a "broadcasting fee". Don't quote me on that but its ridiculously high for those two fees "sports and broadcasting".
