The 3000 ryzen series is the one where the higher frequency really matters. I don't think with a 2000 series it will matter that much if you go with let's say 2800mhz, but at this price point it wouldn't make sense to go with 2800mhz since it isn't significantly cheaper

I thought it was the opposite. First and second gen ryzen benefit from high ram frequency but the 3000 series less so

If you have any trouble after the newegg 30 day return times, YOU WILL HAVE MAXIMUM PITA getting warranty service. I emailed newegg to 'devine' the warranty service and got a bunch of BS, no beef.
The company doesn't make this memory, and their web site has no way of getting service. The price is right, and it's been years since I've have ram problems, but this is just too much money to 'hope'.
