Still have my LG steam washer and dryer from Jan 2007. The only repair ever done was to replace the plastic dryer lint filter for about $20. And I have used it a good amount with 2 adults and 3 kids living here at various times

AJ Madison [ajmadison.com] and US Appliance [us-appliance.com] have this washer for $695, which makes this less of a "find".

Apparently, AJ Madison offers an additional $50 rebate for this washer, and you may apply for the rebate online.

Once one of the stores goes on sale, all the online stores like aj madison also follow. So from there its good to find one without tax

No reason to TD my comment, "most" is not "all".

Real-time info about cycles. I bought LG W/D piars in 2013, 2017, 2018 for various places. Not a single issue. I have always bought extended warranty just in case.

1. "most" is not "all",
and
2. 2010 was almost 20 yrs ago.
We're living in 2030? That time machine worked!

Just a warning if you are planning on using the WiFi feature...there are numerous people (including myself) that have this exact washer that are struggling to get it to work correctly with WiFi (while the dryer works perfectly). There is an 18 page thread on the LG forums about the issue, with no clear resolution. LG has not had solutions, even with people having repairmen coming out to take a look.

With the exception of the WiFi issue, how do you like your washer? Do you wish you would have gotten the WM3900 with the turbo feature?

AJ Madison also charges $120 for installation, and $45 for old appliance haul away. Best Buy and Home depot charge much less.

Other than WiFi I'm happy with the washer. Two things I wish it had were the risers (my own fault for not buying) and an interior light like the matching dryer does.
