The ones that AMZ had 4/$40 was a pretty sweet deal. Didn't like that you have to cut the plug off the ones you are linking to another though. They did give the link tip to install, but some folks shouldn't be messing with electrical wiring... Seem it would be cheap enough to make a little adapter... Anyone have these, or know how the linking works?

Mounted mine on the chains. I did not find an easy way to do a permanent mount and wire it to a box. They are pretty well sealed and easy to break (if you try to take it apart) and very bright for great lighting in your garage or shed.

To look nice you need to get light fixtures that will mount to a fixture electrical box for ceilings. Bought a different unit on clearance at Sams that flush mounts to a box and it was on sale for a reason. The fixture box holes were missing on the unit and a difficult jerry rig but at least you could get to the wiring in the unit.

These are great for those who want a dirt cheap solution that does not require wiring a wall switch.

Long story even longer I am doing the hard wire and switch by running conduit to a celling fixture and a switch on the wall.

Another option is to plug a Kasa into your garage door opener receptacle and turn these off and on remotely with your cell phone.

I installed the feit electric 300w led...4000 lumens.... much better than the sammy light. I had bulbs in garage - simply replaced it. Good option for someone if they already have bulb...
