Macbook Pro 13.3; 2019 Model with 256 GB $1199 (Costco online)

Starts Nov 7th! Just got a holiday mailer and saw this fantastic deal. It's the mid-year 2019 Macbook Pro with 8GB RAM and 256GB hard drive. This normally sells at Costco for $1450, but they're giving a discount of $250 off. They have the same model except with 128GB hard drive for $999 in-store and I was going to get that. But 128GB is a bit too measly. This is online only and the link is not live. Please see the attached pic to see the details with proof.

- Macbook Pro 13.3 w/Retina display
- 8 GB RAM
- 256 GB SSD
- i5 processor

And because this is from Costco, you can buy and return it if you find a better deal during Black Friday.

And of course, if you buy with a CITI card, you'll get 2 extra years of warranty, making it a total of 3 years.

If you're an executive member and have the CITI Costco card, it's 4% cash back, effectively lowering it to $1150.

I know nothing about Apple computers but the wife uses them. Can this drive be upgraded?

that freaking 128gb is useless. i didn't think i used much hd but had just did the latest update to catalina and said i needed like 3 gb more. that's freaking ridiculous to need that much more for gb for an update. now i wish i have the bigger hd. does this have the finger print reader for login cause i hate typing on this and did they fix the keyboard issues cause the 2018 still have that keyboard issue.

All Apple computers since 2012 have soldered parts so the memory and hard drives are not upgradeable

Only 8GB of RAM? Not very "Pro" with specs that bad.

You do realize that you can connect an external storage drive and save your files there.

When you know 1tb ssd sells for $80ish, the $200 extra for 256gb is a disgrace in the PC world.

I completely agree with you; selling MBPs with 128Gb with the constraint of not being able to upgrade is daylight robbery.

This is partly false, the 2015 models allow for upgrade of the drive with an adapter. I am using one now and it works rather well. RAM is not upgradable however...desktop models are a different story.
