This deal was on the front page a few days ago. It is applicable to other carriers in addition to cricket.

Heads up to anyone that buys 2+ cards and tries to redeem them via Cricket's "Quick Pay": be extra careful to ensure that the all your gift cards were actually applied.

When I applied my 2nd gift card, the Quick Pay screen had the normal confirmation messaging like "Thank You! You will receive a text message confirming your payment.", but the Confiration # listed was literally "DUPLICATE". I never received the text message. My Account Credit only reflected my first payment, even after logging in again.

Even varying the payment amount did not get past the "DUPLICATE". I ended up applying the 2nd card to my other Cricket line's phone number as a workaround, and that worked.

Had I not been paying attention, I probably would've ditched the gift card # without even having spent it. I'm following up with Cricket support to see what's up, but stay careful out there, y'all.

Example screenshot attached (with some numbers blurred out of course).

EDIT: Cricket chat support says it's a known issue, and teams are working on it, but could not provide any information on workarounds, and could not have someone reach out when the issue was resolved. They suggested trying again tomorrow. Seeing as the main thread for this deal cites this issues a few days ago, I doubt it'll get fixed tomorrow.

Agree this is an issue. However workaround is... if you try to apply say $15 from $55 first and then remaining $40 again ,it will work. Key is not to apply same value twice.

Thanks,
I saw the same thing. It is very slow to apply credit to the account too.

Interesting that only those two denominations are on sale. We are paid 9 months ahead but maybe I'll snag some.

I usually buy 6 at a time and have not had issue applying them. After each top up, I got a SMS message to all of our 5 phones. Pretty annoying, I couldn't find a way to configure so I be the only to receive these text confirmations.

if you just apply a gift card every 3 - 5 mins it'll go through. You just can't apply one immediately after the other.

With autopay we get the $5 off already, does anyone know if this will give us $55 credit to the account and if we are co figured for autopay will it only take out $50?

Better deal if you have Discover It card for 2019 Q4

When I had the "duplicate" issue, I was able to log out, and then log back in. When I got back in, the first card posted to the balance, and it would accept the second one.

Deal is dead for me. I had it in my cart for the sale price and while checking out the price went back up at the top of the hour.

but then you lose the 5% off with RedCard. Save the spend cap ($1500 iirc) for Walmart or Amazon purchases.
