Even if it was $125 1TB with these speeds would still be a good deal.
I own 2 of these and have been very happy.

Buy it, inspect it and if it is not what it is supposed to be. Return it as defective. Amazon is great with returns.
Or just stop being part of the f*cking problem and don't even give money to companies that engage in slimy switchout practices, and buy the Inland instead.

Much like Kingston pulled the switcheroo with the V100 years ago and then got busted and it became a scandal, I've never bought another Kingston product. Their brand left my world.

Re: Holiday Return Policy

Will amazon honor returns through Jan. 30 on "fullfilled by" products? They do on Amazon products, but not sure if this applies to items fulfilled by them.

You work for inland? Sounds like a sales pitch?

Exactly, Wouldn't touch Sabrent or Inland.. Stay far away..

Sabrent doesn't MAKE anything, they're flippers, they buy something in bulk, put their name on it, and off it goes. They are not involved in development/ QC, nothing.

Same with Inland. These companies just buy and brand whatever.

Compared to say, Crucial, their products have integrity because their parent company is Micron who makes nand. They don't ffff around.

Adata for example doesn't make nands either, but AT LEAST they build the ssds from parts and are involved in their own QC.

How can I use this to upgrade my 6 year old Dell XPS tower that doesn't have ssd? Do I need some kind of adapter to make it work with sata or the pcie slots? Or a different ssd?

If your motherboard does not have a m.2 NVMe port than you are better off just buying a 2.5" SATA SSD and doing a fresh install of Windows 10 on to the new drive.

I have two of the 512gb. They're pretty great and very fast. I wasn't able to get Intel RST to work for raid 0 on a z97 msi gaming 5 .
